This is a heavy duty, gasoline powered generator. It has a surge rating of 3600 watts and a continuous rating of 3000 watts. 2 110 outlets and 1 220 outlet are standard. A voltage meter, low oil shutoff and powder coated frame are additional features.

Eastern Tools & Equipment TG3600 gasoline portable generator is equipped with a 6.5 HP 196 cc single cylinder 4-stroke OHV engine that produces 3600 starting watts and 3000 running watts. Eastern Tools & Equipment's sine wave alternator is built in house using 100% full copper wire and cold roll steel stator and rotor.

It can produce electricity with total harmonic distortion under 5%. With the 4 gallon fuel tank, this unit can operate continuously for 13.5 hour at half load and 8.5 hours on full load. The OHV engines help to provide improved fuel efficiency, longer life, easier maintenance, and less noise.

This unit offers low oil shutdown with indicator lamp to help protect the engine. This unit can run both 120-volt and 240-volt. The 120 -volt receptacle is equip with GFCI protection. There is a voltage selector (toggle type) and voltage meter for easy operation.

False Advertising
This is a 3000 watt generator, not a 3600 watt. It's maximum wattage is stated instead of the actual running wattage. No one else that I have seen advertises the maximum wattage. I would not have purchased if I had known. I contacted Amazon about this and never received an answer from them. Im disappointed in my purchase.

cheap unit for ultra light duty only
I work in small engine repair. I have seen two of these generators in for repair. The first had major engine failure on low hour engine, commecting rod broke at crankshaft and shattered side of engine block. This engine had oil in crankcase. WE replaced engine at owners expense witch cost twice than this cheap chinese generator cost new.

New engine had stuck float on carb, when finally got unit running, engine had loud rattle in other words engine has very loose tolerences at the rod bearing, if you have one of these machines use heavy motor oils in summer (15-40 or 20-50 synthecs) will at least cushion the rod bearing or better yet buy a generator with a tecumseh or honda engine (some briggs ohv generators are having valvetrain problems).

The second generator had a broke ignition switch but engine made same rattling sound.I doubt these generators would last more than 100-150 hours at best so spend the extra money and buy the honda (not with the junk ohc GC engine) buy with the excellent GX pushrod OHV. with the demise of coleman powermate, honda is the safest choice for a serviceable, long lasting generator.

Cobra CPI-150 Power Inverter
Great little gadget that I needed to power my laptop when I travel. Good value for the money.

Perfect, except it's noisy
The product is great overall. Incredibly small for inverters (will be perfect for flying with my laptop), the power is not underrated, and the pouch it comes in is very handy.

The only downside is that it is noisy. I've heard noisier inverters, but this thing is far from silent. I can hear the cooling fan distinctly over my car's engine and road nice (and I have a pretty loud car).

Overall - still happy with the product. I needed an inexpensive, compact power inverter that can be used in a car and on a plane.

A very useful gadget for those on the go!
This is a great and reasonably priced gadget which anyone on the go can find very practical to have in the centre console of the car. I use a hand-held computer for my field work and it not only powers/charges that when I am out and about but it also charges my laptop on the go.

What I did not envisaged at the time of buying this unit was that it can charge different phones with the standard travel charger, especially when in a family there are different phones and require different chargers. One need not buy different car chargers as this unit works like a home receptacle. For twice the amount you pay for a car charger this device sure is an excellent multi purpose gadget.

This unit provides 150 continous watts of power which is more than adequate for computers and handhelds that can be charged from the 12v output of the car. I have a Corolla which I use for my field work and the 12v output can provide upto 120 watts of power as per Toyota's specs.

I accidentally droped this unit in the first week when I wanted to use it in my other car from about 3 feet. The unit survived the fall and except for slight scratch on the side it worked flawlessly and is still in use.

It also charged an old Ipod when I directly inserted it in the USB receptacle. I use a Motorola Razr phone and charge it simultaneously from USB output while the three prong receptacle is in use for the handheld.

Overall I'd say it is a good investment.
